Hey guys. I haven’t fallen off the face of the planet. Life is just that life. But I think I have come up with a plan to stay up to date for you guys plus some extras. My plan is to get this out about every other week. The layout that I have in mind will feature a rabbit to get to know the buns a little better. A tip or a how to section. This will either for rabbits or spinning. Finally a project that I am working on. This project will be angora related. I’d love to show more angora specific projects.
So let’s begin. Just a brief reintroduction. My name is Amanda. I live in the northeast United States in southern New Hampshire (about 45 minutes north of Boston). I have been raising angoras for going on seven years. I have been focusing on producing quality angora wool and color. I raise a mix angoras. They are a blend of English/French/Satin angoras. This wool quality is amazing and the colors are so vibrant.

I am also a wife and mother to five beautiful girls whom I also homeschool. This has made socializing my rabbits to pretty much any situation and age group possible. I also run my studio The Lazy Spinster where I sell my angora’s fiber, yarn, and wool goods. You can check it out here.
My hope is that these blogs will be informative and get to know the wonderful breed a little better. I also want to educate people on angoras so people are fully aware of what they are getting into and see beyond the adorable ball of fluff they are. So stay tuned for more…
